测定烟气吸收液中的氯,单纯只测氯离子是不完善的,尤其是冶炼中有氯气存在的反应过程。因为氯气被水吸收,将产生次氯酸根离子,如只测定氯离子,则不利于检查氯量的平衡。要测定吸收液中的全部氯量,除测定溶液中的氯离子外,还必须将次氯酸或次氯酸盐的结合氯也包括在内。为此,我们采用在吸收液中加入适当的还原剂(H_2O_2),使氯(Cl_2)被吸收液作用后生成的次氯酸或次氯酸盐,转化成可离解的氯离子,然后进行测定。
