前言石斛是兰科石斛属(Dendrobium)植物。全世界约有1500种。我国有60种以上,分布于秦岭,淮河以南,多数种类主要集中在北纬15°31′～25°12′,海拔100～3000米之间,以西南、华南、台湾等高温、多湿的热带、亚热带地区最多。常附于林中树上或林下岩石上生长。
