In this paper, the calculation results of anti-embrittlement strength of 30XLCHA (HRC48 ~ 52) steel bores with different amounts of cobalt carbide are introduced. The calculation shows that the safety factor of BK10M and BK10OM is better than that of BK10OM, and the wear resistance is good. The recommended method of selecting the carbide grades for making broaches greatly reduces the number of durability tests.
