一种人的耳朵不能分辨的“超声波”,具有促进种子萌发,加速作物生长和提高产量的作用。超声波的这种作用,是在一个偶然的情况下发现的。在法国国家科学研究中心的声音实验室附近,有人发现,那儿的花儿长得特别优美的音乐,使人心情愉快,能起延年益寿之效。声音对植物也能发生奇妙的作用。法国的一位园艺家,把耳机套在一个正在生长的番茄上,让它每天“欣赏”3小时的音乐,番茄“闻歌”猛长,果实可长到两公斤重,成为当今世界上的番茄王。
