In order to vividly reflect the geographical landscape and natural environment in our country, we should quickly investigate resources such as land, forests, grasslands, water conservancy and mineral resources to further study the tectonic and environmental evolution. According to the suggestion of Standing Council of Environmental Remote Sensing Branch of China Geographic Society, Remote Sensing Applications Decided to Prepare “1: 1 Million Chinese Color Satellite Images”.
