我们可以半真半假地说《赢家》的片名取得好,一部拍摄之初谁也不注意的小制作竟然成为1995年年度中国各类电影评奖的大赢家,这当然不是“运气”两字可以解释的。本刊不避凑热闹之嫌,发表这个剧本,就是为了向电影研究家和创作人员提供一个可仔细读析的范例以便从中得出有普遍意义的教益来。“精品”究竟是一个测量影片质量的标准还是关于某种意识或观念乃至精神的概念,相信通过一段实践后人们会有所辨别的。提倡拍“精品电影”,搞“精品工程”,首先要有“精品意识”。是否精品只能由产品完成后的检验来确定,不可能在事先由题材、资金的大小多寡来设定。《赢家》的成功启示人们:与其对尚是题材规划中的剧目予以排队分甲乙丙丁,不如对所有影片都提一个“精品意识”。“精品意识”者,“质量意识”之谓也,它非为某一类电影所设乃是一个普遍的要求。人们说电影是工业,用工业产品的质量概念去理解“精品”不是再明白不过了吗? 《赢家》也有另外的启示,如对“小”题材如何开掘,如何将自己的影片纳入主旋律的内涵之中等等。 95—96年十余部境外大制作影片的进口引发了热烈的讨论,除了对引进这件事本身,还涉及了诸如对好莱坞电影的思想意识怎么看等等话题。电影评论主体意识的体现不能仅对国片,也应对外片。
