在鑄造鑄鉄零件吋,由于操作不当或其他原因,常易产生缺陷,造成鑄件报廢。要减少鑄件廢品,主要是在于改进鑄造工艺过程。但对于已經产生缺陷的鑄件,利用焊补的方法来补救仍具有一定的經济价值。国內很多工厂都进行过鑄鉄件的焊补工作,取得了一定的成績,但在焊条成分、焊补規范、操作过程等方面都不一致,街存在着一些問題;尤其是冶焊方面,一般都采用昂貴的銅鎳合金焊条。
