作为英国驻上海总领事馆文化教育处文化教育领事,我衷心祝贺《上海教育》创刊50周年。英国高等院校秉承“以创新为传统”的理念,我认为《上海教育》也是一直以此为理念的。我相信《上海教育》将会继续作为一个极具价值的专业媒体为中国教育工作者和专家服务。在过去的几年里,英国的教育经历了许多变化,在英国接受不同程度教育的人数也在逐年增加。在英国,英格兰及威尔士地区的教育由教育和技能部门管理,而在苏格兰和北爱尔兰地区的教育则由不同的部门管理(其地区教育体系略有不同)。
As Consul of Culture and Education of the British Consulate General in Shanghai, I sincerely congratulate on the 50th anniversary of “Shanghai Education”. British colleges and universities adhering to the “innovation as the traditional” concept, I think “Shanghai Education” has always been as a concept. I believe “Shanghai Education” will continue to serve as a valuable professional media for Chinese educators and experts. In the past few years, there have been many changes in education in the United Kingdom, and the number of people with different levels of education in the United Kingdom has also been increasing year by year. Education in the UK, England and Wales is administered by education and skills, while education in Scotland and Northern Ireland is managed by different sectors (with a slightly different regional education system).
