A4400系列交换机是阿尔卡特公司推出的集成语音、数据及图像为一体的通信平台,其结构是为平滑引入 ATM 技术而设计的。它的水晶体结构技术可以在单位内部集成所有现有电信业务并提供宽带交换能力,它的通用性和开放性既能作为各类信息的传输和交换平台,又能以信息交换服务器方式融入广域网中。为了集成语音、数据及图像这三者,A4400的设计采用 ACT(Alcatel Crystal Technology)基本结构,即阿尔卡特水晶结构技术。该技术中所有电路板(系统板、接口板、辅助板等)以全连通方式相互连接,并由 CPU 控制。每一链路都可设置为专门的使用类型,即其传输技术、信号编码及传输速度均可不同,每一 ACT 链路能支持155Mbit/s 的速率。ACT 实现了模块内的全分散处
The A4400 series switches are Alcatel’s integrated voice, data and video communications platforms designed to smoothly introduce ATM technology. Its crystal structure technology integrates all existing telecom services and provides broadband switching capability within the organization. Its versatility and openness can both serve as a transmission and exchange platform for various types of information and integrate into the wide area network by means of an information exchange server . In order to integrate voice, data and images, the A4400 is designed with the basic structure of ACT (Alcatel Crystal Technology), the Alcatel Crystal Structure Technology.
