對於我這樣一個從來没有參加過革命,一向在反動陣營中工作的教育工作者來說,武訓和武訓傳的討論是有極其現实和切身的意義的。我雖然對於國民党的黑暗統治内心是一向表示不满的,雖然没有像武訓一樣為虎作倀,沒有參加過他們的集團,但是始終没有足够的政治覺悟,缺乏足够的勇氣,跳出蔣管區的範围,直接參加到革命陣營中去。不,不但没有直接參加革命,而且在蔣管區內民主的運動也没有親身參加過,僅僅是同情而已。
