Recently, two 492Q engines were continuously encountered with shingles and axles. One of them failed after servicing the oil pump, and the other after replacing the new oil pump. After dismantlement found that the two engine oil pump and drive shaft have varying degrees of damage, analysis confirmed that this failure is due to improper installation of the oil pump caused.
