1993年,在《物理通报》的历史上是不寻常的一年。物理通报十年如一日,坚持中学物理教学改革,终于结出了第一个硕果。国家教委中、小学教材审定委员会正式审查通过了我们编写的《九年义务教育物理课本(上册)》;国家教委推荐这套教材从1994年秋季起在全国各地推广使用。这一成果对于专业教材出版社来说算不了什么,但对于一个小小的刊物而言,确实是一件大事。这是在全国各地广大物理教师长期支持和共同努力下,克服许许多多困难才取得的成果;这是对我们1985年提出并不断付诸实践的“以教材改革为中心环节,推动教学理论、教学思想、教学内容和教学方法的整体改革方案”的总体评价;也是对全国各地参加物理通报教改试验的师生
