Everyone has a real hometown, this hometown has a name, can be found on the earth. The homeland of a large area is the province, and then specific to the county, township and village. Why is it called the hometown, but not called “so the province”, “so the county?” That is because since ancient times people have decided that the township is their own, provincial and county have nothing to do with their own, that is the country. Since ancient times, the village was the natural free space outside the state power, and the state power ended in the county. The countryside below the county is an immutable folk. It is this vast number of people who have kept Chinese culture stable for thousands of years. The replacement of dynasties is only a matter of counties and above. The rural areas are still rural areas, just as mountainous rivers and lakes are, and the rural cultures can be inherited without replacement by political power.
