In early 1956, with the approval of Mao Zedong and the approval of Mao Zedong and the CPC Central Committee and the exploration of the road to China’s socialist construction, the People’s Daily was revised. The revision is an exploration and attempt by the CPC Central Committee and Mao Zedong on how to run the party newspaper of the proletariat’s ruling party during the period of socialist construction. The revision of “People’s Daily” in 1956 attempted to return to social communication partly from the dissemination of organizations. By 1957, the revision ended because of the changes in the situation at home and abroad at that time. Chairman Mao Zedong played an important role in the whole process. The relationship between him and the revision is worth exploring and analyzing.
