1990年6月30日,在地矿部海洋地质研究所,由青岛市地质学会主持召开一次青岛农业地质学术研讨会。会上有五位同志作了有关农业地质的论述报告,青岛市农业局负责人也对青岛市农业生产与发展形势作了介绍,与会同志对地质如何为农业服务进行了热烈讨论。大家认为过去地质部门把地质力量多集中在地质科学基础研究。同时在找矿、水文地质和工程地质等应用地质方面作了不少工作,其中有些研究水平达到了国内先进水平和国际水平。但把地质理论直接运用到为农业生产上,还是近几年才兴起的一门新学科,这门为农业生产服务的边缘学科,在农村这个广阔的天地是大有作为的。然而过去我们广大地质工作者在野外从事地质找矿工作,也常到农村参加劳动,但都很少有人去考虑如何把地质理论知识运用到农业发展上去。在改革开放的今天,发展农业一靠政策;二靠科学;三靠投入。科学种田已被广大农民所接受。改良土质和提高单位面积产量,从农业地质角度讲,都有大量的实际工作可做。因此,地质工作者有责任推动这一学科的应用和发展。
June 30, 1990, at the Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, hosted by the Qingdao Institute of Geology Qingdao Agricultural Geological Symposium. At the meeting, five comrades made a discussion report on agricultural geology. Leaders from Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Agriculture also introduced the situation of agricultural production and development in Qingdao. The comrades conducted a lively discussion on how geology provides services to agriculture. In the past, everybody thought that in the past, geologic departments focused more on the geological forces in basic research of geosciences. At the same time, a great deal of work has been done on the application of geology such as prospecting, hydrogeology and engineering geology, and some of them have reached the domestic advanced level and the international level. However, applying the geology theory directly to agricultural production or a new discipline that has only emerged in recent years, this edge discipline serving agricultural production has done a great job in this vast land of rural areas. However, in the past, most of our geological workers engaged in geological prospecting work in the wild and often went to rural areas to participate in labor. However, few people considered how to apply geological theoretical knowledge to agricultural development. In the reform and opening up today, the development of agriculture depends on one policy; two rely on science; three rely on inputs. Scientific farming has been accepted by the majority of farmers. Improve soil quality and increase unit area yield, from the perspective of agricultural geology, there is a lot of practical work to do. Therefore, geologists have a responsibility to promote the application and development of this discipline.
