根据2025年美国陆军发展规划,美国陆军将塑造成一支更轻型、更精干的远征陆军;美国陆军将扩大无人平台的应用范围,进而削减旅战斗队人员数量。鉴于对未来预算形势的判断和战后在世界上的角色定位,美国陆军制定出了一个面向未来的发展路线。美国陆军计划在2014年4月公布其新的作战概念,将会提出与海军陆战队和特种作战司令部携手打造“战略性地面力量”。
According to the 2025 US Army Development Plan, the US Army will shape a lighter and more capable Expeditionary Army; and the United States Army will expand the scope of unmanned platforms to reduce the number of Brigade Combat Team personnel. In view of the judgment on the future budget situation and the post-war role in the world, the United States Army has formulated a development path that will be geared to the future. The Army plans to announce its new concept of operations in April 2014 and will propose to work together with the Marine Corps and Special Operations Command to create “strategic ground forces.”
