该协会于1992年成立,属非政治、非盈利性的学术团体,旨在促进其成员之间及与中国国内同行的联系与合作,协助成员的学术发展,并为国内地学研究、教学及生产部门提供服务。 该协会自成立以来,得到广大海外地学留学生和学者的积极支持和响应。其成员主要分布在北美,还有一些在澳大利亚和欧洲。多数成员在各大学及研究中心,应用先进仪器,从事前沿课题研究。该协会愿意为国内同行及有关部门提供多方面的服务,包括学术动态交流、地学技术咨询、样品分析、数据处理、资料翻译、合作研究、安排国内同行访问、学术报告的口译,等等。作为开端,国内有关部门可以向该协会提供国内学术新闻和研究动态,通过其联系网络向中国留学生和学者传播。该协会则免费通过电子计算机向国内方面赠送NACGA Founded in 1992, the association is a non-political, non-profit academic body that aims to promote liaison and cooperation among its members and its Chinese counterparts and to assist members in their academic development. It is also a major forum for the study, teaching and production of geosciences in China Department to provide services. Since its establishment, the association has received the active support and response from the vast number of overseas students and scholars abroad. Its members are mainly located in North America, while others are in Australia and Europe. Most of the members in the universities and research centers, the application of advanced equipment, research in frontier subjects. The association is willing to provide a wide range of services to domestic counterparts and relevant departments, including academic exchange, geotechnical consulting, sample analysis, data processing, data translation, collaborative research, arranging visits to domestic counterparts, interpreting academic reports, and more. As a starting point, relevant domestic departments can provide the Association with domestic academic news and research updates and disseminate it to Chinese students and scholars through its network of contacts.
