Abstract Objective To develop a method to quantitatively measure bone marrow changes based on MRI and investigate the value of this method in assessing the efficacy of multiple myeloma patients. Materials and Methods This retrospective study was approved by the Ethics Committee and is HIPAA compliant with no informed consent. Sixty-four patients with multiple myeloma were selected, aged 27-75 years (average 58.8 years). All 64 patients received autologous bone marrow stem cell transplantation.
