随着新课程标准的实施,地理必修教材中出现了大量的案例,运用案例开展教学是新教材最显著的特色与优势之一。作为一种新型的教学形式,它与一般的教学形式互补,把许多抽象内容具体化,提高学生的学习兴趣,又能使学生体会到地理知识的实用价值。一、案例教学的主要特征1.明确的目的性。通过一个或几个独特而又具有代表性的典型事件,让学生在案例的阅读、思考、分析、讨论中,建立起一套适合自己的完整而又严密的逻辑思维方法和思考问题的方式,以提高学生分析问题、解决问题的能力,进而提高素质。2.客观真实性。案例所描述的事件基本上都是真实的,不加入编写者的评论和分析,由案例的真实性决定了案例教学的真实性,学生根据自己所学的知识,得出自己的结论。
