“随笔”本属副刊体裁,上海《新民晚报》则把它引入新闻版,辟出“新民随笔”专栏。“新民随笔”由七位记者轮流主持,每天刊发一篇800字短文,就申城的新闻热点议论风生,催生出一个新闻“新品种”。
The “Essay” is a genre of supplements. Shanghai Xinmin Evening News introduced it into the news edition with the “Xinmin Essay” column. Xinmin Essay, chaired by seven journalists, takes a daily 800-word essay and talks about the news hotspot in Shanghai and gives birth to a new breed of news.
