河套灌区综合经营工作从1991年开始逐步走上正规.截止1994年9月底已有从业人员1513人,7个产业门类,25个项目,形成固定资产2804.8万元,自有资金542.97万元,可开发利用的土地面积68701hm~2,目前已开发种植的11575hm~2,果园1285hm~2,小水面7916hm~2,继1991年河套灌区管理总局成立综合经营管理办公室后,全系统内都设置了综合经营科(股、室),并配置了财会人员,实行财务单独设立,建立了一些切实可行的规章制度.
