On a high bed filled with pillows and antique bedding, I woke up. The sun’s rays project from the square windows and project a honey-like halo onto the tall canopy and rough plank walls. An old wooden table covered with white long tablecloths, fresh fruit and a bottle of wine on the tablecloth. In a space next to the wooden table was a rough stone floor with an oval bathtub on the ground. Candlelight swaying beside the bathtub, the space looks like a cave in general. After a brief trance, I soon realized that I was in a hotel in the ancient town of Matera. Last night, I had just arrived in Hong Kong.
