今天的女童是明天的妇女,也是未来家庭的管理者,大龄女童更是即将步入社会的妇女群体,她们素质的高低不仅直接关系到她们自身的生活改善和经济地位的提高.而且直接影响着未来妇女的素质以及我国男女平等国策的推进和实现。由全国妇联与英国国际发展部合作实施的中英大龄女童技能培训和能力建设合作伙伴项目,旨在通过对中国西部贫困地区大龄女童培训,使她们掌握一定的基本知识和技能,更好地参与到当地的经济和社会发展中;通过宣传倡导,转变公众观念,使更多的人关注女童发展,维护女童利益;通过项目实施,加强妇联组织的能力建设。
