草莓是经济价值很高的浆果植物。它的果实营养丰富,维生素含量很高,被誉为浆果的“珍品”。草莓结果早,收益快,也很丰产。经验证明,加强草莓的苗期管理,是夺取丰产的关键。草莓在河北省中南部地区,多为8月上旬定植,第二年6月上旬收获完毕,除去冬眠期(120天),苗期的的生长主要是在头年的入冬前,占整个苗期生长天数的76.3％。由此可见,搞好越冬前的管理,培养健壮的身苗,是整个苗期管理的关键。
Strawberry is a very valuable berry plant. Its fruit is rich in nutrients, high in vitamin content, known as the “treasures” of berries.
