Objective: To analyze the expression of blood group antigen in colorectal cancer and its relationship with prognosis. Methods: Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect five blood group antigens of A, B, H, Lea and Leb in 86 patients with distant colorectal cancer. Results: The five blood group antigens expressed differently in colorectal cancer. When the A, B, and H antigens were lost in high- and middle-differentiated adenocarcinomas, their prognosis was poor. Low-differentiation adenocarcinoma and mucinous adenocarcinoma A, B, and H When the antigen is not co-expressed, the prognosis is poor. There was no significant difference in the expression of Lea and Leb antigens in various colorectal cancers. The expression of five blood group antigens had little relationship with the Duck’s stage of colorectal cancer. Conclusion: Detection of A, B, H antigens may be helpful in judging the prognosis of colorectal cancer.
