在贵州的镇远县(海拔464m,北纬27°07′)用3个短光敏感程度不同的品种,在生育期间以自然光照(光周期平均近似值14L+1OD)为对照,用短光照(12L+12D、12.5L+11.5D及13L+11D)分别在全生育期、花前及花后处理。结果随短光而缩短生育期,但各品种的生育期到一定短光限度就不再缩短。平果豆为12.5L+11.5D,镇远青皮豆与黔豆一号13L+11D,且比当地自然光照时数缩短1~1.5小时已达极限。在极限以上光照,花期随缩短光照而缩短,开花总数也随之减少,表现最高开花数的光照时数,平果豆与黔豆一号为13L+11D,镇远青皮豆为14L+10D,(自然光照)。花后结荚平果豆的光照以12L+12D,镇远青皮豆以12.5L+11.5D,黔豆一号以13L+11D为适宜。荚果发育与籽粒充实各品种均为12L+12D短先照较优。说明开花结荚与鼓粒时以比自然光照缩短为有利。7~8月的高温对结荚鼓粒有严重影响,而影响程度随光照缩短而减轻。较长光照财有利营养生长。因此各品种具有一定最适光周期要求,以协调营养生长与生殖生长。
