近二十余年来，铁型覆砂铸造技术在国内取得很大发展。作为这门铸造技术的造型方法有别于砂型铸造，与热芯盒制芯也有一定的区别。按照它独特的造型要求，研制2ZF25水平分型双工位覆砂造型机，以满足铁型覆砂造型的需求。
