This paper analyzes the management requirements and optical path overhead transmission methods of optical channel layer (OCh) in WDM optical transport network. Based on the development trend of current optical network, the OCh frame overhead transmission technology , The definition and allocation of the specific bytes of the optical path layer overhead in the OCh frame structure are studied.
