The National Symposium on Hydrocarbon Migration jointly organized by the Petroleum Geology Professional Committee of the Chinese Petroleum Institute, Northwest University and Inner Mongolia Petroleum Institute was held at Northwestern University from November 2 to 6. More than 80 delegates from the Ministry of Petroleum, Department of Geology, universities and colleges and other systems a total of 50 units. The conference received 45 papers, including mudstone compaction, hydrocarbon discharge, hydrodynamic effects, clay minerals, organic geochemistry, simulation experiments, research methods and so on.
