【Abstract】With the internationalization of tourism， China has become one of the most important tourist destinations in the world. Attractions in translation are one of the most difficult in the translation of proper names， inevitably become common topics of translation. In this paper， by comparing the translation， through the detailed analysis of a number of examples to elaborate methods for tourist attractions.

Introduction
China has a long history of cultural monuments， magnificent and majestic mountains， extensive and profound Chinese culture， unique customs， skilled crafts， as well as tempting and delicious flavor of food attracts more and more foreign tourists， which promoted the development of national tourism economy. The translation of names of scenic spots as tourist attractions translation punchline， which carrying rich content in the refined language.
1. The Characteristics of Tourism English
Tourism English is closely related to tourism translation， so it has its own unique language style. The characteristics of tourism English translation of scenic spot name requires emphasis on the understanding of the meaning of culture and language expression in the expression habits and cultural values for the target language， but also to convey the real linguistic and cultural features of China unique.
2. Translation of Scenic Spots
2.1 Retains the Cultural Connotation of the Original Text
Connotation refers to the content of the concept， and the corresponding extension. When people use language to communicate， usually only understand or understand the meaning of the language to express the meaning of success. Translation of proper nouns， especially attractions translation， should emphasize the connotation including the associative meaning of translation.

However， there are a small number of prepositions used in free translation， although the use of low frequency， but the importance of expression can not be ignored.

According to the “Oxford Advanced Learner dictionary” （1997 edition fourth） （hereinafter referred to as the dictionary）， the meaning of “at” is “refers to a point in space；” used with the name of a building， especially with the activities carried out. Over， there are two possible explanations， one is attached to someone or something above and some or all of the cover， another is “on or to the top of someone or something but don’t touch”， and is used with over after an explanation of hang over is interpreted as “suspended in the air”. “On” expresses to cover or form part of a surface in a position or into a person’s position. In this way， second kinds of prepositions are used improperly， which makes them lack of accuracy.

The translation of tourist attractions is prior to show the local beautiful natural scenery and humanistic landscape the potential reader， forming an appealing structure， and arouse the curiosity of readers.
