我们生活在一个大众传播时代,报刊、广播、电视、书籍、互联网门户网站等传播媒介渗透到社会的各个阶层和各个角落,小到个人的衣食住行、工作、学习和娱乐,大到社会的政治、经济、文化,无一不和大众传播有着密切的关系。大众传播是社会舆论不可缺少的载体,对社会性别的认知有着深刻的影响。女性既是大众传播的传播者也是受众,大众传播在发展过程中对推动女性思想观念的进步起着不可估量的作用,但同时因为大众传播容易受到多种因素的影响,在传播过程中也造成了对女性形象的歪曲误解。
