Objective: To investigate the efficacy of continuous hemodilution in patients with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS). Methods: Forty-eight MODS patients admitted to Xinxiang Medical College from February 2016 to September 2016 were selected as the research objects. The clinical data of 48 patients were retrospectively analyzed. The vital signs, creatinine (Cr) BUN, TBIL, IL-6, TNF-α and C-reactive protein (CRP) were measured. Results: After treatment, heart rate, mean arterial pressure (MAP), oxygenation index and other vital signs were significantly higher than those before treatment (P <0.05); Cr, BUN, TBIL, IL-6 and TNF- α and CRP were lower than before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05); the total effective rate was 85.4%. Conclusion: Continuous hemofiltration is safe and effective, which can effectively improve the vital signs and biochemical indexes of patients, delay the progression of the disease, and play a protective role on organ function.
