Quality of life (QOL) is a commonly used method of assessing the severity of stroke sequelae. Previous studies found that patients with stroke QOL significantly reduced. However, there are several objections to the use of QOL in stroke and general medical research. Mainly think that this kind of research lacks the theoretical framework, scholars also use the concept of QOL are quite different, and did not clearly state what they want to focus on life. Despite its frequent use, the concept of QOL is not satisfactorily explained and the validity of the content of the existing QOL assessment methods has not been demonstrated.
