当今世界格局变化的急剧显示出两个时代交替中的不连续性。然而,旧格局的解体和新格局的孕育,均非始自今朝,并将延续演进。发现和掌握导致这类变化的因素和规律,趋利避害,关系到国家的兴衰和人类的命运。本文试图通过对处于当代发展前沿的美国的某种“立体”式研究,即不仅从美国本身,并且从美国对当代发展的作用,从美国和某些国家的关系和对比中,从中国和日本对美国的不同交往方式和效果,来探本求源。
The dramatic changes in the world today show the discontinuity in the alternation between the two ages. However, the disintegration of the old pattern and the birth of a new pattern are not from the present and will continue to evolve.
