银鱼,古称“脍残鱼”、“白小”,颇名贵。春秋战国时期就有太湖盛产银鱼的传说。到唐代以后,赞颂银鱼的诗歌较多。现将银鱼的种类、分布及其生物学特性综述如下。 一、银鱼种类与分布 银鱼属鲑形目银鱼科,鱼体细小而透明。现已知我国有8属18种,其中太湖短吻银鱼,是一个特殊类型,它属于定居于淡水中的种类,具有其它银鱼属不同的生态特性,鱼类分类学家已将太湖短吻银鱼划归银鱼科新银鱼亚科。
