珍珠的碳酸钙结晶矿物颗粒微小,粒度为1~8 μm ,优质珍珠粒度一般为3 μm ,因此用一般方法很难鉴别其组构,其结晶轴方位问题始终未得到解决.作者采用X射线岩组分析研究珍珠内微小矿物的组构,得出结晶C轴沿径向生长,这为优质珍珠的培育提供了结晶学方向的理论指导.
The pearlescent calcium carbonate crystal minerals are tiny with a particle size of 1 ~ 8 μm. The quality pearls are usually 3 μm in size. Therefore, it is difficult to identify their structure by the general method. The problem of the crystal axis azimuth has not been solved yet. The authors used X-ray lithofacies analysis to study the microstructure of fine minerals in the pearl, and found that the C axis of the crystal grew along the radial direction, which provided the theoretical guidance for the crystallization of high-quality pearl.
