邓肯依靠自身内在的自然规律自由地、全身心投入地舞蹈,不仅反映现实生活与源自内心的情感的撞击,更是一种“美利坚精神”的表现。吴晓邦的“新舞蹈”现实地反映了特定时期中华民族命运,在表现时代、社会、文化等方面,赋予舞蹈全新的内涵。二者都预示了一个新时代舞蹈时期的到来。
Duncan, with his inherent laws of nature, freely and wholeheartedly devoted himself to dancing, not only reflected the collision between real life and emotions originating from his heart, but also a manifestation of “the spirit of the United States.” Wu Xiaobang’s New Dance realistically reflects the fate of the Chinese nation in a specific period and gives the dance a completely new connotation in the performance of the times, society and culture. Both predict the arrival of a new era of dance.
