Last winter, I went to Chauzhou with the Guangzhou Institute of Early Childhood Education. A dozen short days, the way Britain, France, Germany and Italy and other countries, can be described as a glimpse of the skies. With so many questions about Europe, I am well respected by the ancient civilizations in Europe and proud of China’s progress and in no way inferior to any other. Objective comparison shows that we still have a considerable distance from Europe. At least, in inheriting and promoting the fine traditions of our nation, we spare no effort in preserving the rich cultural heritage of our own country, in the quality of citizens and the civilization of the entire society, and in the concept and level of protecting the rights and interests of educated people and exploiting and utilizing educational resources There are indeed quite a few places in Europe worth learning from.
