新疆是我国面积最大的省级行政区。地形特点被喻为“三山夹两山”。三山为阿尔泰山、天山、昆仑山。天山横亘中部,把新疆分为南北两半,南部是塔里木盆地,北部是准噶尔盆地。习惯上称天山以南为山疆,天山以北为北疆。阿尔泰山亚洲宏伟山系之一,斜跨中国、哈萨克斯坦、俄罗斯、蒙古国,绵延2000余公里。中国境内的阿尔泰山属中段南坡,山体长达500余公里,南邻准噶尔盆地。主要山脊高度在3000米以上。北部的最高峰为友谊峰,海拔4374米。我国著名的喀纳斯就位于阿尔泰山脉。
Xinjiang is the largest provincial administrative district in our country. Terrain features have been hailed as “three mountains folder two mountains ”. Three mountain Altai, Tianshan, Kunlun Mountains. Tianshan runs through the middle, dividing Xinjiang into two halves, the Tarim Basin in the south and the Junggar Basin in the north. It is customary to call the mountain to the south of the Tianshan Mountains and Beijiang to the north of the Tianshan Mountains. Altai Mountains, one of the magnificent mountains of Asia, diagonally across China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia, stretches more than 2000 kilometers. The Altai Mountains in China are on the southern slope of the middle section, with mountain ranges of over 500 kilometers and the Junggar Basin to the south. The main ridge at a height of 3000 meters. The highest peak in the north is Friendship Peak, at an elevation of 4374 meters. Our famous Kanas is located in the Altai Mountains.
