杉木是我区土要用材树种之一,在伟大领袖毛主席“绿化祖国”的号召下,人工造林面积大,分布广。但由于造林密度不一,加上经营管理跟不上,一部分密度过大的林分,自然分化现象严重,影响杉木的生长和木材产量。为了适应杉木用材林基地建设的需要,摸索杉木造林比较适宜的密度,达到速生丰产的目的,1966年春,我们在本所科研基地进行丁杉木不同密度造林试验,现将九年来试验结果整理
