从1998年正式入选中国男篮,到2008年北京奥运会谢幕表演,姚明为国家队整整奋战了10年,出战三届奥运会和两届世锦赛,总共五次世界大赛,帮助球队两次杀进世界前八。更重要的是,姚明的出现彻底改变了中国男篮的传统打法,小快灵的技术风格变成了以内为主以外为辅。虽然有人说这种打法并不适合中国队,但它却在客观上使我们获得了与世界列强抗衡的资本。
