与胡建成老师熟识是通过我的大学班主任史玲老师,当时觉得这位油画系一画室教授特别幽默健谈。我虽然不是油画系的学生,但感觉和胡老师特别的亲近,在凝视他家里挂满四壁的画作时,心里只有欣赏和崇拜。直到现在,当我以一位研究者的身份与胡老师对话时,才发现他的艺术经历、艺术理念与绘画世界值得我们深入探寻与思考。他的艺术探索之路可以视之为中国油画家成长的典范,从而成为我们观察与理解中国油画家的极好途径。
Prof. Hu Jiancheng was acquainted with Professor Shi Ling, a class lecturer at my university. At that time, I felt that this oil painting studio was a special humorous talker. Although I was not a student of the Oil Painting Department, I felt particularly close to Professor Hu and only admired and worshiped my heart when I stared at his family’s wall paintings. Until now, when I was talking to teacher Hu as a researcher, I found out that his artistic experience, artistic concept and painting world deserve our in-depth exploration and reflection. His art exploration can be regarded as a model for the growth of Chinese oil painters, which is an excellent way for us to observe and understand Chinese oil painters.
