1924年1月11日夜1时许,位于闸北北四川路东北引翔港邢家宅路与煤屑路交界处一带(现为虹口区管辖)居民简易草棚发生火灾,大火燃烧至第二日凌晨,酿成烧毁草棚530条间,烧死老妇一名,幼女二名,300余人无家可归的惨剧。这次大火引起了社会各界的极大关注,民国日报连续几天报道这一消息。 邢家宅路地处美租界北四川路狄思威路的东北,地属华界。失火地点在靶子场日本小学堂后面,邢家宅路与煤屑路交界处,该地居住均为江北灾民。占地20余亩。皆是临时搭建的简易草棚。据当地人说,失火当
