核能的发展,要求增加铀矿石的开采量,从而要提高矿山的生产能力。这就要求采用大崩落开采法,然而贫化率高。水冶加工这种矿石的费用亦高。用提高铀矿石质量的方法有可能降低铀化学浓缩物的成本。本文介绍了在采矿及预选过程中利用放射性测量的方法以提高铀矿石质量。图1列出选别回采和大崩落开采法控制铀矿石质量的流程图。用罗马数码标出的是能提高水冶加工用矿石质量的放射性测量方法。下面对每一种方法较详细地加以叙述。
The development of nuclear energy requires increasing the amount of uranium ore to be mined, so as to raise the production capacity of mines. This requires the use of large-boulder mining methods, however, with high rates of dilution. Metallurgical processing of such ore costs are also high. It is possible to reduce the cost of uranium chemical concentrates by increasing the quality of uranium ore. This article describes the use of radiometric methods in mining and preselection to improve uranium ore quality. Figure 1 shows the flow chart for controlling the quality of uranium ore by the Selective Mining and Caving Mining. With the Roman numeral marked is to improve the quality of the ore metallurgy ore radioactive measurement methods. Each method is described in more detail below.
