2005年度诺贝尔文学奖获得者哈罗德·品特的戏剧作品,奠定了他成为一名出色的后现代戏剧作家的根基。在他的“威胁喜剧”中,无论是看起来晦涩的语言、似乎没有情节的故事,还是反映现代社会异化的主题,都体现了后现代主义的特点。荒诞和晦涩只是品特戏剧的表面特征,究其实质,应该说它深刻地反映了当代英国社会的状况,具有发人深思的思想力量和激起共鸣的巨大艺术魅力。
The dramatic work of Harold Pinter, winner of the 2005 Nobel prize in literature, laid the foundations for him to become an excellent postmodern dramatist. In his “Threat Comedy ”, both the seemingly obscure language seems to be no plot of the story, or the theme of alienation in modern society, all embodying the characteristics of postmodernism. Absurdity and obscurity are just the surface features of Pinot Noir. As for its essence, it should be said that it profoundly reflects the current situation of British society, has thought-provoking ideological power and arouses great artistic glamor.
