创建于1998年的 JCI,是世界卫生组织认可的全球评估医院品质的权威评审机构。JCI 由医疗、护理、行政管理和公共政策等方面的国际专家组成,他们分别来自西欧、中东、拉丁美洲及中关洲、亚太地区、北美、中欧、东欧和非洲。自1997年起,JCI 编制了医疗机构认证标准,开始了对海外医疗机构的认证。在美国,已有1.8万家医院进行了认证。而 JCI也已经为世界13个国家和地区的45家医疗卫生机构和政府部门进行了指导和评审。在美国,只有获得 JCI认证的医疗机构才能获得各种医疗保险赔付。浙江大学医学院附属邵逸夫医院自2003年8月引入 JCI 评审体系,2006年12月22日顺利通过了检查,在 JCI 检查的1033条测量要素中,1003条获得满分。国际 JCI 检查官承认,邵逸夫医院对医疗质量持续不断改进的效果,超出了 JCI 国际评审小组专家们的预想,标志着该院在医疗安全、医院管理方面向国际化进程迈出了重要的一步,也意味着邵逸夫医院已经跨过了美国及许多国家医疗保险公司的赔付门槛。
Founded in 1998, JCI is an accredited global accreditation body for assessing the quality of hospitals worldwide. JCI is comprised of international experts in the fields of healthcare, nursing, administration and public policy. They are from Western Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Central Asia, Asia Pacific, North America, Central and Eastern Europe and Africa respectively. Since 1997, JCI has compiled the certification standards for medical institutions and started the certification of overseas medical institutions.
