Objective To investigate the clinical value of dynamic determination of white blood cell count in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods White blood cell count using Japan SYSMEXNE1500 automatic hematology analyzer completed at the same time, multi-factor statistical analysis. Results The mortality of patients with leukocytosis was higher than that of the normal group. There was a significant difference in leukocyte count among all conscious states and the higher the patients’ consciousness disturbance was, the higher the leukocyte count was. Conclusions The mechanism of increased white blood cell count in the early stage of cerebral infarction is caused by the stress response caused by brain injury to a certain extent. The increase of white blood cell count can be used as a good indicator to judge the prognosis of cerebral infarction. Dynamic determination of white blood cell count can improve the prognosis of patients with cerebral infarction to determine the accuracy.
