The 475 ℃ brittleness of CM_2 ferrite-austenite duplex stainless steel was studied. The spindles were melted in a non-vacuum induction furnace. The materials after forging were water-quenched at 1050 ℃ for 2h, and the aging temperature was 400 ℃ and 480 ℃ respectively, up to 2500h. The structural changes after aging were analyzed with an electron microscope. Aging on the performance of the impact with the determination of impact, hardness, strength and corrosion testing. The results show that the impact toughness decreases obviously and the alloy becomes brittle and the corrosion resistance decreases after a certain aging time, which may be due to the precipitation of chromium-rich α ’phase in the ferrite.
