The party actively participated in the parliamentary elections and presidential elections, with nationalism as its central stance, forming its own policy advocacy and theoretical program. Due to its unique political environment and historical origins, the Socialist Party of Seychelles has its own characteristics compared with that of the traditional Socialist Party.
