We have established a recuperation guinea pig perfused device that continuously characterizes changes in lung weight and pulmonary pressure. In this model, the effect of phospholipase A2 (PLA2) on lung injury was studied. The results obtained are: pulmonary perfusion fluid plus PLA_2 (46U / ml), within 30min progressive increase in lung weight, no significant change in pulmonary arterial pressure. Pulmonary albumin permeability surface product, pulmonary surface exudate, lung water content, pulmonary coefficient and angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) activity in perfusate significantly increased at 30 min.
